A feeble breath in starless dark
A grain of sand in a multitude of deserts
Earth is but one thought; Death
All for naught
The darkness drops again
Nothingness draws near
Vast wings across the cancelled skies
Close and lifeless is the air
Mountains burst into flame
Blood boils through skin
Hills painted red with crimson gore
The sun is blackened
Come the sound of the clarion horn
Do you still seek to know
When the worms are grey and pale
And their mouths have eaten all
Do you still seek to know
When fading from less to less
To nothing at all
Do you still seek to know
When dawn bears no day
And the earth is draped in pall
Do you still seek to know
When fading from less to less
To nothing at all
odd choice of tracks for a re-interpretation but lets be honest, ask 100 people what to redo and you get 120 answers cause with a long history as Horn, there just are too many tracks. Audio & mixing is superb and follows the style of the last 3 releases.
I wouldn't start with this album cause you miss the evolution of Horn <and lots of kickass riffs>, grab this when you have several hours of the old ones under your belt to really grasp the full line of work. its worth it! Tleilaxu
Easily one of the most powerful Pagan Black metal albums unleashed into the world. The musicianship is phenomenal, the vocal performance is savage, and the atmosphere is a somber triumph. After my first play through I had to listen to it again. Horn has quickly become one of my favourite bands that I will champion at any time. battleslain
